International Forum

The International Forum is a two week long internationally advertised programme for professional theatremakers up to the age of 35 working in spoken drama; directors, set and costume designers, actors, dramaturgs, writers and all other theatre artists. It is intended as a platform for comprehensive practical and theoretical exchange and includes practical training in workshops, visits to the selected productions, participation in seminars, lectures and discussions and also the Talentetreffen.

Under the title “The world at eight. Presenting realities” 2010’s workshop programme focuses on two central questions: How can theatre deal with the world? And what are the realities created by the art of theatre? The workshop leaders each employ their own contrasting methodologies and perspectives.

Participants will receive a bursary.
The 2010 International Forum takes place from 9th to 23rd May and is conducted in German.
