The grand dame of English literature reads from her last two books, “A love child” and “The Story of General Dann and Mara’s Daughter, Griot and the Snow Dog”.

Doris Lessing, born in what is today Iran, in 1919 and raised in Africa, numbers among the most important authors of English literature of the 20th century. In Germany she became famous with her novel “The Golden Notebook”.
