Ulla Hahn, born in Brachthausen in 1946, is predominantly known as a poet but has also written novels. Among her distinctions are the Friedrich-Hölderlin-Preis, the Deutsche Bücherpreis and the Elisabeth-Langgässer-Literaturpreis.
