Presentation · Gabriele von Arnim
Speaker · Naomi Krauss

The novel “Fugitive Pieces”, which has been awarded many awards and, this year, was made into a movie, tells of the relationships between a Jewish man and other people, through which he can at last piece together his life as a fugitive.

Anne Michaels, born in Toronto in 1958, first emerged as a poet before publishing her very successful first novel. The central theme of her work is the healing capacity of love in all its forms.
