All interested theatremakers are welcome in the Haus der Berliner Festspiele for the third Talent Day!

In 2008 Talent Day also goes international and the Theatertreffen’s three talent platforms invite directors, actors, writers, dramaturgs, set and costume designers, theatre producers and arts journalists from around the world TO BERLIN. Talent Day offers opportunities for exchange and networking between practitioners as well as contact with national and international institutions, co-producers and personalities.
To open Talent Day the British playwright Simon Stephens will hold an off the cuff lecture on the subject “The myth of talent”.
This will be followed by the opening of the fair, where visitors can target the information of their choice. Five workshops will also run concurrently to this mentored by selected theatrical personalities.
The cafe in the Box Office Foyer will be available all afternoon for conversations and “Gesellschaftsspiele”.
So much exchange deserves to be celebrated: after the performance of “While We Were Holding It Together” by Ivana Müller it’s time for the open-ended Talent Day party.

All theatremakers looking for something or with something to offer are most welcome!
