Andrea Berger

Andrea Berger studied German Philology and Cultural Studies in Vienna and Dramaturgy in Munich. She has worked as a dramaturg and assistant director at several theatres including Deutsches Theater Berlin, Münchner Kammerspiele and, most recently, Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. She has also worked extensively as an editor and freelance cultural journalist. She joined Berliner Festspiele as print and online editor in late 2016 and became head of the editorial department in September 2020.
