Information for Visitors

We recommend that you buy your Gropius Bau exhibition tickets online before your visit. This allows you to choose a time slot and avoid long waiting times. More information

On 20 September access to the exhibition Gurlitt: Status Report. An Art Dealer in Nazi Germany is located on the other side of the building at the south entrance of the Gropius Bau. We ask for your understanding should longer waiting times occur.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased on site at Gropius Bau and in the listed online shops.
With our online ticket you can visit our exhibitions without waiting. We kindly ask you to please bring along relevant documentation for reduced admission.

Combined exhibitions tickets are available at the ticket desk.

Reduced Admission

Schoolchildren, trainees, volunteers, students, recipients of unemployment benefits, pensioners and people with severe disabilities (50% or more) receive reduced admission upon presentation of relevant documentation. In designated exhibitions, groups of more than five people receive a special discount. Admission is free for children and adolescents up to the age of 16.

Guided Tours

Our guided tours will provide an overview of our current exhibition themes. During exhibition periods, we offer public tours every weekend. In addition, private tours can always be booked on your preferred date.

Parking
The car park is located directly next to the Gropius Bau on the corner of Stresemannstrasse 110 and Niederkirchnerstrasse and is open 24 hours.

Accessibility

For individuals with reduced mobility, wheelchairs or prams, Gropius Bau can be accessed via the barrier-free entrance located to the left of the main entrance. The building provides barrier-free access to all three exhibition floors. Wheelchairs and rolling stools are available on loan from the cloakroom. Toilets for individuals with reduced mobility are located on the basement and first floor levels. Medically required attendants for people with severe disabilities will be admitted free of charge. Our team is here to assist you.

Restaurant

Barkin'Kitchen is all about quality food and drinks in unconventional settings.
Temporary by Barkin'Kitchen are serving hand-made food, cakes and drinks at the Gropius Bau until mid-January, offering contemporary cuisine with a Mediterranean twist.
