Shared Landscapes

Seven pieces between woods and meadows

August/September 2023

How can we approach the landscape without distancing ourselves at the same time? What if art did not imitate nature, but allowed us to experience it?

“Shared Landscapes” is a performative response to the land art of visual art. The audience is invited to the edges of Berlin to spend a whole day among trees, meadows, human and non-human inhabitants. Through subtle artistic open air interventions, audio tours, site-specific music scores, choreographies, media art and theatre, a new community may emerge at the transition between city and countryside.
