Pina Bausch

She was celebrated as the »Mother Courage of modern dance«: the choreographer Pina Bausch. With dance pieces like Bluebeard, Nelken or The Window Cleaner she has rewritten the history of dance like hardly anyone before her. In this portrait she speaks about the beginnings of the Wuppertaler Tanztheater and her artistic journey. She talks for the first time in many years about her performances, co-productions with other cities and countries as well as rehearsals and her experiences on tour.
