The music that appears on Unguarded swells up and ebbs away, and there is a constant interchange between sonic and visual adventures. Unguarded’s first ever release, “Unguarded 1 – Piercing Touch”, provided evidence of the collective’s multifaceted style. Here they combined elements ranging from pastoral ambient, moody electro-acoustic ballads, hybrid vocal compositions, and avant-pop songs to eerie, digital synth manipulations. More than ten artists and projects from the Unguarded community will perform as part of the programme of “The Sun Machine Is Coming Down”.
