Children’s Workshop

How Much Rest Do We Need?

With Ephra

Each and every day we learn how to deepen our knowledge and use our skills. Yet, who teaches us how to really pause? This children’s workshop invites you to take a break and to think about what “doing nothing” or “resting” means to you.

If you want to be creative, you need time to deepen ideas. Periods of rest give us the opportunity to recharge our batteries and to take care of ourselves. It is often difficult to allow ourselves such breaks, despite knowing the importance of them in theory. The workshop will start with a brief introduction, after which we will take a period to do nothing, allowing thoughts, wishes and ideas to arise. Surrounded by Emeka Ogboh’s artwork Ámà: The Gathering Place, we will playfully exchange these ideas before exploring how guided meditation can put our minds to rest.
