With his installation Ámà: The Gathering Place in the atrium of the Gropius Bau, Emeka Ogboh creates space for these and many other questions. The Young Gropius Bau (JuGroBa) deals with related questions. In a two-hour workshop by and for young people, we want to let Ámà: The Gathering Place flow into our thoughts and actions. This begins with a joint visit and discussion with the Gropius Bau team about this artwork. With sustainability and collectively working on the fundamental questions of society and culture in mind, we then invite you to create patchwork cushions together from old fabrics and thus contribute to our JuGroBa space. We are a platform for young people for the exchange about art and invite you to participate in creating a warm and inspiring environment for this. We will post the most beautiful cushions on our website! See you on Monday 25 October at the Gropius Bau.
