Calling Back My Power
In English
Who is telling my story? How would I tell my story? How do I process my perspective?
The basis of this workshop is that every person who creates theatre is shaped by diverse experiences. Above all, our social positioning – for example in terms of gender, migration experience, class, religion, etc. – influences how we perceive and tell the world. Since social positioning is rarely given the necessary attention in classical theatre, we want to focus in this framework on how our daily experience of the world and the specific experiences associated with it are connected.
In the workshop, basic knowledge on the topic of social positioning will be conveyed. Afterwards, a scenic example will be used to explore which approaches the participants bring with them, in order to sharpen views for the differences and the commonalities of a (theatre) space.

Unhero My Journey
As emissaries of the collective Antagonist:innen, author Svenja Viola Bungarten and actor Lola Fuchs invite you to a narrative intervention. In the Black Box of the Akademie der Künste, an immersive coaching course is created that, along the five common stations of the hero’s journey, challenges us to think differently about outdated storytelling parameters of quest and success, victory and defeat.
