Taking the Afrasian Sea (Indian Ocean) as a communal horizon, a common denominator, a bridge, Indigo Waves and Other Stories: Re-Navigating the Afrasian Sea and Notions of Diaspora explores manifold links between the Asian and African worlds. Artists, musicians, poets and researchers engage with the histories and presents, the cultures and economies, the poetics and philosophies that constitute that body of water.
