“expo zéro” is located at the zero point of the Musée de la danse. This performative exhibition presents the collective development of a collection of thoughts and movements. What is a museum of dance, what could or should it be? These are the issues that will be investigated by a “think tank” of international artists, choreographers and theoreticians: Claire Bishop, Boris Charmatz, Tim Etchells, Hu Fang, Mette Ingvartsen, Pichet Klunchun, Rabih Mroué, David Riff, Shelley Senter and Meg Stuart will discuss and rehearse together for a week in Berlin. A choreographical arrangement will be created, through which the audience can move freely and thus gain an individual perspective of the Musée de la danse. What will be presented in the Kunstsaele Bülowstraße is not an exhibition of artefacts or objects; Instead, through movement and perception, a temporary museum of dance will be created.
