Matej Keižar

Matej Kejžar was born in 1974 in Kranj, Slovenia. In 1994 he entered SNDO (School for New Dance Development) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. After his studies he continued to work in the performing art field as a choreographer, and teacher of contemporary dance techniques. He was working as a member of Rosas / Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker on two creations (“The Song” and “Cesena”). In 2009 he created, in collaboration with KinkKonk/Pekinpah Spider Net, a net of independent cultural organizations. Since 2009 Matej is working on his own practice called “Time and Space Re-Mix”. Following the same Re-Mix idea he created “Senser 2010”, “Edge 36.5”, “Architecture for better living”, “Duet”, “Hit”, “Edges of Shutting Down”, “Procedimento 21+1” and “White”.
