Mani A. Mungai
As a member of Cie. Wayo, Kenyan-born Mani A. Mungai upsets the boundaries of contemporary dance. He is inspired by African dance, by Salsa, Capoeira, Tap and Hip Hop. In 2013 and 2014, Mani A. Mungai worked as a collaborator with the poet Isabelle Garron on “Le Pas contemporain” and as a dancer for Rachid Ouramdane in “Polices”, for Raphaëlle Delaunay in “Eikon” and for Boris Charmatz in “Flip Book”, “enfant”, “Levée des conflits”, “20 Dancers for the XX Century” and “manger”.
