Bernhard Robben

Bernhard Robben, born in 1955, lives in Brunne/Brandenburg and translates English literature, including Salman Rushdie, Peter Carey, Ian McEwan, Patricia Highsmith and Philip Roth. In 2003 he was awarded the Translator’s Prize from the Stiftung Kunst und Kultur des Landes NRW (Arts and Culture Foundation of North-Rhine Westphalia), and in 2013 he was presented with the Ledig-Rowohlt-Preis for his life work.
