Natalia Orendain del Castillo is a visual artist and scenographer. She began studying visual art in her native Mexico, choosing sculpture as her main subject. Her interest in the performing arts took her to the Berlin Weißensee School of Art, where she studied stage and costume design, graduating in 2015. During her studies, she became involved in a variety of theatre productions, including Hans-Werner Kroesinger’s documentary theatre, Julian Klein’s Institute for Artistic Research and Herbert Fritsch’s “Don Giovanni” opera project at the Komische Oper. She is currently interested in the subject of spatial perception and presented her own works at the Bauhaus Dessau and during the Quadriennale 2015 in Prague.
