Simone Kucher
Simone Kucher, born 1973 in Ellwangen, studied theatre-science, gender studies and new German literature in Munich and Berlin and has lived in Jerusalem and the USA. Her first play “Falls City” debuted in 2005 (Rote Fabrik, Zurich). She was invited to the dramatic-workshop of International Schillertage, to the night of dramatic at Münchner Kammerspiele, to Theaterbiennale Wiesbaden “Neue Stücke aus Europa” and was nominated with her play “Silent Song” for St. Gallener Autorentage 2009. Her plays premiered in Munich, Basel, Bochum, Vienna and Berlin. The author writes radio plays and features and works together on contemporary music with the composer Petros Osepyan.
