Inge Hinterwaldner
Inge Hinterwaldner is the current Professor for Art and Visual History of Modern and Contemporary Art at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In 2009, she obtained a doctorate in Art History at Basel University on the subject of “The Systemic Image” (Fink 2010, Engl. MIT Press, 2017). She did research as a guest at MECS in Lüneburg (2014), at Duke University Durham (2015) and at the MIT in Cambridge (2016). Her main areas of research include interactivity and temporality in the arts, computer-based art and architecture, the interweaving of arts and science since the 19th century, performativity theory in the sciences, theories of images and models.
