Tim Stevens

Dr. Tim Stevens joined the department as Lecturer in Global Security at King’s College London in September 2016. He holds a BA in Archaeology from University College London, and an MA, MRes and PhD in War Studies from King’s College London. In 2013, he was elected Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He is also Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

His research looks critically at global security practices, with specific interests in cybersecurity and digital surveillance. He has also written on time and temporality in International Relations theory, most recently in a monograph, Cyber Security and the Politics of Time (Cambridge University Press, 2016).
