Anna Anderegg is a choreographer from Switzerland. She studied dance in Bern, Montpellier and Berlin. In her work, she focuses on the dialogue between the human body and its urban/digital habitat. In 2013, she and her company ASPHALT PILOTEN won the June Johnson Dance Prize (Swiss Dance Awards) and a research fellowship for a six-month stay in New York. Anna Anderegg’s work has been presented at festivals in Europe, Asia, Russia and the US. In 2018, she created the piece “Fragmented”, commissioned by the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow. “Fragmented” explores self-staging on social media platforms while responding to the space’s architecture, designed by Rem Koolhaas. Since 2017, Anna Anderegg has been teaching at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz (Basel). At the college’s Institut Ästhetische Praxis und Theorie, she conducts physical spatial experiments with her students.
