Lorenzo Marsili
Lorenzo Marsili is a philosopher, author, and political activist working for a future beyond the nation state. He is the cofounder of the transnational NGO European Alternatives and was one of the initiators of the pan-European movement DiEM25. His latest book is “Citizens of Nowhere” (Zed Books, 2018), forthcoming in German in April 2019 (“Wir heimatlosen Weltbürger”, Suhrkamp Verlag). He is an active public speaker and media commentator internationally (“Guardian”, BBC, Al Jazeera, Rai) and was the founding editor of cult independent journal “Naked Punch Review” (London and Beijing). He has degrees in philosophy and sinology from the University of London and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the global NGO CIVICUS.
