Nutsa (Nino) Iashvili is a Georgian artist and performer. She did her Master’s degree in Psychology in 2013 and completed her postgraduate course at the Center of Contemporary Art – Tbilisi in 2017. In 2014 she worked as a performer in the Lava-Dansproduktion-project “Waiting In The Margins” – her first time as a performer. In 2016 she created a concept of inclusive performance for people with special needs: “მეგობART (FriendArt)”. Since then she has been participating in various projects, such as “Inclusion in Art: the German Experience 2016” (Frankfurt, Berlin), the art project “Delokobreva” (2016), the Performance Days Tbilisi 2019”; the nomadic exhibition “Enclosed Garden”, which was organised by the collective HEROINES (2019) and others. She was involved in a collaboration project with German students within the framework of the HEFT-exhibition, including a video installation and a book presentation “Tbilisi – Perspektiven auf eine Stadt im Wandel” (Hamburg). Currently, Nutsa (Nino) Iashvili is performing in a project of Open Space – Centre for Performing & Visual Arts, a dance and documentary theatre workshop called “HOW CITY MOVES?” and works as an artist, performer and stage manager of Margo Korableva Performance Theatre.
