Assistant Theatertreffen (Stückemarkt)
Anna-Katharina Müller has been a dramaturge at Theatertreffen since 2019 and supports the Stückemarkt team. She was born in Moers and grew up in Magdeburg. She was a major Theatre student at Southeast Missouri State University (USA) and interned and assisted at Theater Magdeburg, Schauspiel Leipzig and Schauspiel Stuttgart. From 2012 to 2015 she studied Drama Studies, Cultural Studies and English Studies at Universität Leipzig. The Master’s degree followed after attending the Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg under the direction of Elisabeth Schweeger and Jens Groß. During her Master’s she worked with Anna-Elisabeth Frick, who won the Körber Studio für Junge Regie in 2016 with the production “Die Unerhörte”. From 2017 to 2019 she was part of the team of Lars-Ole Walburg at Schauspiel Hannover, first as an assistant dramaturge, then as a dramaturge and collaborated with Tom Kühnel, Thorleifur Örn Arnarsson, Milan Peschel and Mathias Max Herrmann. Together with director Alexander Eisenach she was responsible for the artistic direction of Cumberland, a venue and part of Schauspiel Hannover. In 2021 she is the dramaturge of “In a year with 13 moons” by R.W. Fassbinder at the Athens & Epidaurus Festival 2021, director is Katerina Giannopoulou. Anna-Katharina Müller was a fellow of International Forum 2018 at Theatertreffen and reviewed the pre-selection of Stückemarkt 2019.
