Gregor Schulenburg

Gregor Schulenburg is an artist, performer and community musician: he plays flutes and the duduk and kyotaku (Japanese bamboo flute). He studied at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag and was awarded a scholarship from the International Ensemble Modern Academy. He is a co-founder of the musicians’ collective MAM. manufaktur für aktuelle music and has appeared as a guest musician with the Ensemble Modern. Gregor Schulenberg gives regular musical performances at numerous festivals and other venues. He is married and the father of two sons. In addition to his work as an artist and performer, he works in the field of community music and has been a trainer with the peace organization "Musicians Without Borders" since 2019. Since 2015 he been Artistic Director of Jeunesses Musicales’s Ethnocamps programme (Ethno Germany, Ethno India) and from 2017 to 2019 he was project leader and instructor on the ETHNOLeader advanced training pilot project in Stuttgart and Mannheim.
