Jule Saworski completed her Master of Arts in Stage Design at the University of the Arts, Berlin in 2018. At the same time, she also took her diploma in Stage and Costume Design at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin. Since then she has created work for the Bayreuth Festival, Schauspiel Dortmund, Prater / Theater an der Parkaue, Berlin, Volksbühne Berlin, Theater Trier, Neuköllner Oper, Berlin, Ballhaus Ost / BAM! Berliner Festival für aktuelles Musiktheater and Schauspiel Köln.
In her work she is currently exploring an independent narrative form for the stage and to make agency visible. She combines associative thinking with dramaturgical form, with colour always playing a part. She shares an intense artistic collaboration with Marie Schleef. “To The Lighthouse” was invited to Hamburg for the Körber Studio für Junge Regie in 2019. In 2020 they created the long durational performance “NAME HER. Eine Suche nach den Frauen+”, for which she was responsible for video for the first time, together with Ruben Müller.
