Martin Taxt

Martin Taxt, born in Trondheim, Norway in 1981, holds a master degree in music performance from the Academy of Music in Oslo. He is releasing albums and touring with groups such as Microtub, Muddersten, Music for a While and Toshimaru Nakamura. Since 2013 he has been a part of the award winning art collective Verdensteatret. In 2020 he released ‘First Room’, his solo debut and the first in a series of several albums investigating possible relations between music and architecture.

He has been running the experimental label Sofa Music since 2010.
