Aine Nakamura
My voice is of and with my body. I pursue sensibility and spirituality as my aesthetics through a focus on the nuanced possibilities of my voice. I have presented my solo exhibition at Gallatin Galleries (New York), performances and compositions at A Concert of Electronic Music presented by APNM in honor of Mario Davidovsky, Festival Dias de Música Electroacústica, New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, October New Music Festival in Finland, and more. My other appearances include “The Two” directed by Dmitry Krymov. Recipient of several awards including the Fulbright fellowship and The Léo Bronstein Homage Award (New York University).
