Carolin Widmann
Carolin Widmann, born in 1976 in Munich, has established herself as an interpreter of New Music on her violin. In concerts, she just as often performs as a soloist with leading orchestras and as a chamber musician, as well as giving solo concerts in programmes with violin music. She often also performs works that go beyond a standard repertoire. She particularly enjoys performing with her brother, the composer and clarinetist Jörg Widmann. Carolin Widmann has recorded several CDs with works stretching from Schumann to Feldmann.
