Mart Kangro

Mart Kangro is an Estonian choreographer living and working in Tallinn.

After graduating as a dancer and choreographer from Tallinn University he worked at the Estonian National Opera for a few years before committing himself solely to choreographic work in which he often performs himself. Kangro has collaborated extensively with the German choreographers Thomas Lehmen and Christina Ciupke. He has also worked together with the Estonian musician and sound artist Taavi Kerikmäe, investigating the role of the performer in live music. His works from recent years include longer than expected, Winners vs Losers, Can’t Get No / Satisfaction and Talk to Me.
