Speak Percussion
Percussionists Eugene Ughetti, Peter Neville and Matthias Schack Arnott form the core of Melbourne-based Speak Percussion, one of the most unconventional and exciting ensembles of its kind. Speak Percussion is represented by different artists at Australian and European music festivals as well as in experimental and interdisciplinary contexts. The ensemble has participated in installative art projects and has collaborated with choreographers, dancers, instrument makers, visual artists, light designers, sound designers and architects. In particular, Speak Percussion has premiered a variety of works commissioned by Australian composers, among them Chris Dench, David Young and Anthony Pateras.
