Nick Lerman

As the video editor/artist/cinematographer for internationally renowned composer/director Gene Coleman’s video/music compositions, Nick Lerman’s work has been exhibited throughout the US, Europe and Asia. He has directed and produced films screened at the Philadelphia Film Festival and the Margaret Mead Film Festival, among others, and has served as research assistant for award-winning filmmaker Ramin Bahrani. He is also active as a guitarist/musician in New York City, having performed all along the East Coast in varied genres and styles. He studied Cultural, Literary and Visual Media at the City University of New York’s Baccalaureate Program for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies, where he received multiple academic scholarships and fellowships, including the Thomas W. Smith Academic Fellowship, Brooklyn College Foundation General Scholarship, and a Furman-Tow Travel Stipend.
