From 7–17 of October 2021 the Berliner Festspiele brought the long-disused International Congress Centre Berlin (ICC) back to life with performances, circus arts, music, films, and installations. The project invited visitors to freely explore the architectural icon, which was open for ten days, in interaction with artistic works. To the daily programme
Impressions from "The Sun Machine Is Coming Down"
Together with Berlin and international artists, the Berliner Festspiele transformed this high-tech architectural icon intended for simultaneity into a space for encounters and a vessel to other worlds. Visitors explored the ICC and experienced temporary events such as performances, concerts, film screenings and talks as well as permanent works, installations and screenings.
