Beginning 11 November 2023, the Gropius Bau shows&nbsp;her0, a presentation by visual artist Selma Selman. At its core lies the development of her performance&nbsp;Motherboards&nbsp;(2023&ndash;ongoing), in which Selman and members of her family dismantle electronic waste.

How Love Moves: Prelude

During Pallavi Paul&rsquo;s time as Artist in Residence 2023, the Gropius Bau presents a prelude to her upcoming solo exhibition in 2024. In How Love Moves: Prelude, a scenography around the three-channel video installation Cynthia Ke Sapne / The Dreams of Cynthia (2017) transforms the historic Schliemannsaal into a twilight space between wakefulness and sleep.

A Programme on Artificial Intelligence

Ether&rsquo;s Bloom marks the first part of the Gropius Bau&rsquo;s&nbsp;<a href="${link:{uuid:{2530681e-98b4-46ea-b69b-4b9033b0a33e},repository:{website},path:{/bfs-de/gropius-bau/programm/2023/ausstellungen/kuenstliche-intelligenz}}}">Programme on Artificial Intelligence</a>, which focuses on the utopian and poetic possibilities of AI. As part of Ether&rsquo;s Bloom, works by the artists Elisa Giardina Papa and Mimi Ọnụọha are showcased in freely accessible spaces of the Gropius Bau and here on our website.

In Between Frequencies

Soundshapes &ndash; In Between Frequencies activates the two entrances of the Gropius Bau with sound works by Kapwani Kiwanga and Janine Jembere, creating an acoustic connection between the central entrance portal and the step-free entrance. Drawing from the potential of porosity, this architectural intervention challenges the monumentality and statics of the building.

RambaZamba Theater &amp; Tom&aacute;s Saraceno

&ldquo;aerocircus &ndash; eine circensische karnevaleske mit planwagen/ entgegen aller linearit&auml;ten&rdquo; combines the debate about the climate crisis with inclusive theatre. In a spatial concept by Tom&aacute;s Saraceno, the actors of RambaZamba Theater gradually reconcile themselves with the ruined planetary habitat.

General Idea, P is for Poodle, 1983/89

The artist group General Idea challenged the art world and society at large. Often through humour and satire, they adressed various aspects of consumer culture and social inequalities. On 22 September, the Gropius Bau opens the most comprehensive retrospective on the trio ever produced.
