Family Poster
Masculinities: Liberation through Photography
What is masculinity for me? What can, what may, what should masculinity be? In order to shed light on these and other questions, a family poster has been created for individual study of the topic.

The poster was designed in cooperation with Ephra. Ephra works together with schools, art institutions and artists to try out new ways of art education for young people. Workshops were held with 14- to 19-year-olds from Campus Rütli School, Beethoven-Gymnasium and Junger Gropius Bau as well as the experts Fikri Anıl Altıntaş, Linus Giese and Rosa von Praunheim, which gave an insight into the life of young people. Together they questioned gender roles and explored power relations. The results of the workshops were compiled in a graphic recording for the poster. The poster can be picked up for free at the exhibition or downloaded here: Download (, 1.6 MB)
School classes can also order the poster in a higher quantity – just send an email to .
