Open Call 2019 [closed]

Giving Space (WT)

Space, both literally and metaphorically, is vital for education. In opening up physical spaces to independent groups and projects, we would like to work with partners in the city on current issues and questions of art and education, and to open up the Gropius Bau to new audiences.

The application deadline was July 21, 2019.

Within the scope of the new education programme Space for Art Education, the Gropius Bau is putting out an open call for the 9-month project Giving Space (Working Title), which responds to the current need for spaces for art education work in Berlin. The project partners are invited to use a workshop and exhibition space at the Gropius Bau as a place of learning, working and meeting for their educational project. The spaces will be regularly made accessible to visitors of the Gropius Bau. From all submissions, a jury will select one project to make use of the spaces at the Gropius Bau beginning in autumn 2019.
