Access and Arrival

This year the Jazzfest Berlin will take place both at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele and at other venues. Here you can read information about barrier-free access so that you can enjoy your visit. For more information and to buy tickets please contact our ticket office.

Reductions for Attendants

Attendants for people with severe disabilities will be admitted free of charge on presentation of the appropriate credentials (“B-Ausweis”). We can offer you the corresponding tickets at the box office or by telephone.

Haus der Berliner Festspiele

You can reach the Haus der Berliner Festspiele at Schaperstraße 24 barrier-free by public transport: The underground station Spichernstraße has two lifts on the platform of the U3 in the direction of Wittenbergplatz and in the direction of Krumme Lanke as well as a guide system for the blind on the two side platforms.

The Haus der Berliner Festspiele has barrier-free, with step-free access to the foyer and the auditorium on the ground floor. The upper foyers and the side stage can be reached via a lift. Due to construction work, paved access to the garden is not yet available.

A toilet for all genders and for people with reduced mobility is located on the ground floor.

A-Trane

A-Trane is barrier-free accessible. Unfortunately, there is no toilet for people with reduced mobility.

Fasanen-Kiez

The Kiezkonzerte in the Fasanenkiez are only partially barrier-free accessible. If required, please inform us when you register.

Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche

The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church can be accessed by persons with restricted mobility, in wheelchairs or with children’s buggies using a ramp. The ramp is located on the side of the church facing the Kurfürstendamm between the new church and the old tower.

There is an accessible toilet in the basement of the church that can be reached by a lift.

We regret that we are unable to offer an induction-system. If you have hearing problems, we recommend sitting close to a loudspeaker.

The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church does not have its own parking spaces. If you are travelling by public transport, please alight at Kurfürstendamm on the U-Bahn, Zoologischer Garten on the U- and S-Bahn, or use bus routes M19, M29, M46, X9, X10, X34, 100, 109, 110, 145, 200, 204, 245.

Pierre Boulez Saal

The Pierre Boulez Saal has a barrier-free, step-free access at the main entrance. Ticket control takes place directly at the entrance doors of the Pierre Boulez Saal.

Toilets for people with reduced mobility are in the basement and on the upper floor and can be accessed with an elevator.

There are several car parks nearby from which people with reduced mobility can reach the Pierre Boulez Saal.

Unfortunately, Quasimodo is not barrier-free accessible.
