This year, the Musikfest Berlin will once again take place at the Philharmonie Berlin, the Haus der Berliner Festspiele as well as at other concert halls and venues in the city. Here you can read information about barrier-free access so that you can enjoy your visit. For more information and to buy tickets please contact our ticket office.

Reductions for Attendants

Attendants for people with severe disabilities will be admitted free of charge on presentation of the appropriate credentials (“B-Ausweis”). We can offer you the corresponding tickets at the box office or by telephone.

Haus der Berliner Festspiele

You can reach the Haus der Berliner Festspiele at Schaperstraße 24 barrier-free by public transport: The underground station Spichernstraße has two lifts on the platform of the U3 in the direction of Wittenbergplatz and in the direction of Krumme Lanke as well as a guide system for the blind on the two side platforms.

The Haus der Berliner Festspiele has barrier-free, with step-free access to the foyer and the auditorium on the ground floor. The upper foyers and the side stage can be reached via a lift. Due to construction work, paved access to the garden is not yet available.

A toilet for all genders and for people with reduced mobility is located on the ground floor.

Philharmonie Berlin

Sixteen dedicated box seats/places are provided for visitors in wheelchairs and the persons accompanying them. Other seating options are available in the Great Hall as well as the Chamber Music Hall by taking a few steps. Zimmer frames and walking aids may not be taken into the auditorium for security reasons. These may be left in the cloakrooms or outside the respective entrance to the auditorium. The Philharmonie's Great Hall and the Chamber Music Hall have an induction loop for hearing aids. A receiver for this system can be obtained free of charge from the information desk. Accessible toilets are provided in the foyer.

If you use a wheelchair, please register your attendance at least one day before the performance. Please contact the Ticketing & Service team at tel. +49 (0)30 254 89 100.

The public parking facilities on the west side of the Philharmonie/Herbert-von-Karajan-Straße include a limited number of signposted disabled parking spaces. The underground car park below the Chamber Music Hall (entry via Scharoun-Straße) does not possess a lift to the foyer. In order to avoid a long walk, we recommend you travel by bus routes M48 and M85 (Kulturforum or Varian-Fry-Straße), line 200 (Philharmonie or Varian-Fry-Straße) and line 300 (Philharmonie or Varian-Fry-Straße).

Konzerthaus Berlin

For visitors with limited mobility, a lift is available via the stage entrance (Charlottenstraße). A total of 16 designated seats are available in the Great Hall for guests in wheelchairs and accompanying persons. If you use a wheelchair, please let the ticket team of Konzerthaus Berlin know at least one day before the concert in order to ensure the best possible service.
The Konzerthaus Berlin has an induction loop for hearing aids. Accessible toilets are located in close proximity to the stage entrance and at Café Konzerthaus

Tickets (free of charge) for attendants for people with severe disabilities (disability pass contains the symbol “B”) can be purchased and pre-ordered via the ticket hotline 030 20 30 9 2101 (Mon - Sun: 10:00 - 19:00), by e-mail (besucherservice@konzerthaus.de) or at the box offices in the visitor service area of the Konzerthaus Berlin (Mon - Sat: 12:00 - 18:00 / Sun and public holidays: 12:00 - 16:00).

Designated parking spaces are available on Charlottenstraße (near the stage entrance) and on Markgrafenstraße (near Taubenstraße). Arrival by public transport is possible by underground (U2, stop: Hausvogteiplatz or Stadtmitte; U5, stop: Unter den Linden; U6, stop: Stadtmitte or Unter den Linden), railway (Friedrichstraße or Brandenburger Tor) or bus (M48, 100, 147, 200, 265, 300).

Kirche Am Hohenzollernplatz (Church at Hohenzollernplatz)

The church Am Hohenzollernplatz is barrier-free accessible via a lift. A guide system for the blind leads to the lift and from the lift to the church portal. An induction loop is available for people with auditory impairments. There are no designated wheelchair spaces in the church. Appropriate spaces and seats for wheelchair users and one accompanying person each will be kept free by prior arrangement (contact@noonsong.de; Tel: +49 30 684 00 455).

Toilets for all genders as well as for people with limited mobility are located on the first floor at the level of the church portal and on the second floor. Both are accessible by lift.

Parking at the church Am Hohenzollernplatz at Nassauische Straße 66 is limited due to the weekly market. Therefore, if possible, plan to arrive by public transport. The underground station Hohenzollernplatz (U3) has a lift as well as a guidance system for the blind.
