Opening of the Nature Theater of Oklahoma

For the duration of the festival, HAU Hebbel am Ufer / HAU1 will be turned into the Nature Theater of Oklahoma. Under the title “The Great Theater of Oklahoma is Calling You!”, the New York theatre group will live and perform in the entire building while developing their next great theatre show with any willing Berliner volunteers. The result of this work in progress will be performed at the end of the festival. The 15-person company invite all those interested to a large, joint barbecue. Every Berliner that follows the call by the Nature Theater company will be interviewed and introduced to the tasks for the following weeks. (Anyone who just wants to get to know the group can come along and have a burger.) Alongside evening shows, the artists will give interviews, broadcast podcasts, make animation films and work with Berliners every day. There has never been more Nature Theater!
