DEEP AEROBICS

The beauty of the theatre lies in the fact that sometimes things we thought were impossible can happen anyway: Death Electric Emo Protest Aerobics. With “DEEP AEROBICS”, New York-based choreographer Miguel Gutierrez has created the collective, political, conceptual, fantastic workout experience that everyone longed for but never dared to do. “DEEP AEROBICS” combines the joie de vivre that is the vigorous bouncing of our anatomical, spiritual and energetic molecules with the existential absurdity of living in a system of injustice, war-mongering, and cultural impotence. Gutierrez has no qualms about shamelessly disseminating his legendary technique, because he’s sure that it will self-destruct shortly and the whole world is going to hell in a hand basket anyway. After only one evening with Miguel, you too will be a Master Teacher! “DEEP AEROBICS” is not a show, it’s a movement, it’s a transformative experience for the mindbodyspiritgenital matrix.
