Come Together!
The doors of the house open for the Theatertreffen der Jugend 2022
After two years, we can finally come together again on site for the Theatertreffen der Jugend. In the newly renovated Haus der Berliner Festspiele, the doors and stages will open for the young theatre-makers of this year’s selection. Eight ensembles from Berlin, Heidelberg, Cologne, Oldenburg, Schwerin, Stuttgart and Weimar have been selected by the jury as prize winners.
You are cordially invited to experience the award-winning productions live on site. Tickets for the performances are now available in our webshop. It is also possible to watch the performances in the Berliner Festspiele Media Library as a live stream or as a recording. Tickets for these are free of charge or available on a voluntary payment basis.

The Theatertreffen der Jugend
The Theatertreffen der Jugend sees itself as a place of learning where young theatre makers can negotiate their different themes and attitudes and are encouraged to develop their individual, artistic forms of expression. The focus is on the invited productions and the meeting and exchange between the young players and their directors in the most varied formats.
