Antigone Akgün

Antigone Akgün studied dramaturgy at Hessische Theaterakademie. Previously, she had completed a degree course in theatre, film and media studies, philosophy and classical archaeology. She enjoys writing for and about the theatre and develops performative pieces for both the stage and public spaces.
Dilan Zuhal Capan
*1992
Freelance emerging author and artist in Berlin. Her main disciplines: (visual) poetry, performing and visual arts, essay writing. Currently, she also studies drama studies and philosophy and works as an assistant director.


Lili Hering
*1993
Born and raised in Vienna, she gathered her first theatre experiences there. During her time as a student in Berlin and Istanbul, she worked for film and festivals – including Tangier, Berlin and Locarno – and wrote on the side. Through her master’s degree in cultural journalism, she found her way back to writing and the theatre.
Jorinde Minna Markert
*1994
Born in Berlin, acted in film and theatre for a long time. Now she writes for the latter and studies in Hildesheim. Her debut play “artgerechte haltung” was presented in staged readings at Schauspiel Hannover and in Leipzig and is currently nominated for the 2019 Retzhofer Dramapreis.

Nicholas Potter
*1990 (guest blogger EXBERLINER)
Theatre editor with the English-language city magazine Exberliner. He also works as a freelance author and translator. His articles have been published in taz and Freitag, among others. Nicholas Potter comes from Great Britain and has been calling Neukölln his home for seven years.
Julien Reimer
*1994
Following a Voluntary Social Year at Theater der Altmark in Stendal, Julien Reimer studied German language and literature and broadcasting in Leipzig and Zurich. He completed his training in radio at mephisto 97.6, the local radio station of Universität Leipzig and headed their theatre desk. Since 2016, he has been a freelance contributor with MDR Kultur.
