has been a dramaturge at the Theatertreffen and the Head of Theatertreffen’s International Forum since 2017. He was born in 1988 and studied Philosophy, German Studies and Modern German Literature in Bochum, Istanbul and Berlin. He was a fellow of the Heinrich Böll Foundation and taught formal logic at Bochum University. From the 2013/14 season to 2017/18, he was a member of the dramaturgy department of Maxim Gorki Theater, for two years as artistic director of Studio Я. He is also a playwright: His play “GET DEUTSCH OR DIE TRYIN’”, directed by Sebastian Nübling, is part of Maxim Gorki Theater’s repertory and was invited to the Heidelberger Stückemarkt in 2018. His latest work “Die Verlobung in St. Domingo – ein Widerspruch”, also directed by Sebstian Nübling, was premiered at Schauspielhaus Zürich and will be in Maxim Gorki Theater’s repertory from the 2019/20 season.
