Practical Information
Yes. The entire tour is covered by a single ticket, and no additional public transport ticket is required for participation in the tour itself. Travel to and from the tour’s starting and finishing points is not included.
No. Our tours do not form a complete loop and have different starting and finishing points. Further information can be found under Starting Points.
As the tours take place both on and around the Ringbahn, participation cannot be guaranteed if you arrive late. Please ensure that you reach the relevant Travel Agency in good time before the tour begins.
Parts of the event take place on uncovered Ringbahn platforms. We therefore recommend bringing weather-appropriate clothing, as well as umbrellas, sun protection and water. Heavy rain, severe thunderstorms or official heat warnings may result in the cancellation of the event.
What If Berlin takes place in public spaces and on Deutsche Bahn premises. We are therefore unable to guarantee full accessibility throughout the event. Please refer to our Accessibility page for further details.
To ensure clear audio throughout the tour, we use a headphone-based audio system. You will receive the equipment at the Travel Agency at your tour’s starting point and return it at the end of the tour.
Yes. Personal headphones with a standard AUX jack connection may be used. It is not possible to connect personal Bluetooth headphones.
No. As the tours have different starting and finishing points, we are unable to provide a cloakroom or luggage storage service.
Yes. Dogs on a lead are permitted. Please note that a separate public transport ticket is required for your dog.
We advise against bringing a bicycle. Full trains may cause complications and delays, and the tour cannot wait in such circumstances.
Children accompanied by adults are welcome, although the tours have not been specifically designed for younger audiences. None of the featured projects contains descriptions of violence or inappropriate language.
