Tickets

What If Berlin takes place over four weekends from 28 August to 20 September 2026. There are several ways to purchase tickets for the tours: online, at the box office at Gropius Bau, or at one of the three Travel Agencies specially set up for the project at the Gesundbrunnen, Hohenzollerndamm and Sonnenallee S-Bahn stations on event days (subject to availability).

Please note that photographs and video recordings may be taken during the event in which you may be identifiable. By attending the event, you consent to these recordings being used for event communications and promotional purposes. You may withdraw your consent at any time for future use by emailing kommunikation@berlinerfestspiele.de. Following such a withdrawal, the relevant recordings will no longer be used.

Should any rights holders not have been identified despite extensive research efforts, any legitimate claims will be settled in accordance with customary agreements. Please contact in this case kommunikation@berlinerfestspiele.de

Concessions

Reduced price tickets are available in advance online and at the daytime box office at Gropius Bau, as well as on event days from one of the three Travel Agencies specially set up for the project (subject to availability). Those eligible for reductions are: persons with a severe disability of GdB 50 or above, schoolchildren and students up to the age of 27, plus those in training, engaged in (Federal) Voluntary Service or in receipt of unemployment benefit. Only a limited allocation of tickets is available. Please keep valid ID with you when entering the event.

Holders of the Berlin-Ticket S (former “Berlinpass“) may buy one reduced price ticket for € 3 at the respective Travel Agencies on the day of the event (subject to availability).

Persons covered by the Asylum Seekers’ Benefits Act may claim free tickets by telephone, at the daytime box office at Gropius Bau and at the Travel Agencies.

Please present the appropriate ID when you enter the event.

Reductions for Attendants

Attendants for people with severe disabilities will be admitted free of charge on presentation of the appropriate credentials (“B-Ausweis”). We can offer you the corresponding tickets at the box office at Gropius Bau or by telephone.
