How does a city explore, remember, and shape itself? This tour examines once imagined urban apparatuses: Germany’s first comprehensive school, a citizens’ forum, a lost historic archive for the histories of inter*, trans*, queer and non-binary people, a hole in the Berlin Wall, and the Monument to Freedom and Unity. Though never (or not yet) realised, these projects continue to haunt Berlin like ghosts.
