Elementary to the work “GoGoGo” is the power of the communal ritual of bodies in dialogue – between the individual, the group and the space, which is courageously used to assert one's own identity or even to (first) find it.

“GoGoGo” does not bode well. Is the intention here to push forward something that needs standstill rather than speed? Or is it to align what has gone off the rails? Silently, the ensemble of fifteen dancers has taken up position at one side. Their gaze is directed blankly into the distance. Orientation looks different. The otherwise immobile human body starts to move. After a while, two performers leave the block of bobbing masses as if they had realised that there is only one way out. The supporting structure of the group seems to slowly dissolve. Criss-crossing, they finally strive away in all directions, seeming to conquer a bit of freedom.

The reminiscences of “RUNthrough”, one of the last pieces of the mother company CocoonDance, are also unmistakable.
