Das Böse Ding

For more than a dozen of years the four musicians of German outfit Das Böse Ding have been overriding common definitions of jazz: Punk, noise, electronica, toy music, venerable bebop and standard song – to name but a few - are unconventionally put together. Slapstick and humour part of their repertoire they keep surprising the audience with opposites of routine and frenzy, retro and progress, baladesque serenity and breath-taking tempi.
